Be a customer to know a customer
The success of every business is built upon knowing what a customer
wants before they know they want it. You must think like a customer to sell to
a customer. Customers want a business to know what they like and do not like,
what they are and aren’t willing to spend their money, and how much they are
willing to pay for a product or service without ever having to tell them. Businesses
that make customers believe that the product/service they are selling is what
they want, even if they didn’t originally want it, tend to be the most
successful. This goes back to using entrepreneurial intuition and marketing
research. If you know how the person buying is going to view the service and
connect with it then it is possible to adapt the selling technique to appeal to
that view. Humans enjoy connections: with other people, with themselves, with
the products/services they invest in, and the world around them. So connecting
the product or service to them makes them more likely to invest and get those around them to do so also.
